Tractor Trailer and SUV Accident on I-95 in Westport, CT Sends Two to the Hospital

A collision between a tractor trailer and an SUV resulted in the cab of the tractor-trailer rolling down an embankment and serious damage to the SUV. The crash occurred early today, September 27, 2012, on I-95 South in Westport.

Westport and Fairfield emergency response personnel had to pull two people out of the SUV. Both were transported to the hospital injuries that were not life threatening.

The truck driver escaped without injury.
