Alexandra Walewski, 22 years old, was charged with DWI, traveling unreasonably fast for conditions, failure to drive to the right and misuse of a license after she caused a side swipe accident on Saturday, August 18.
Walewski crossed the divider line and side swiped a vehicle and then struck a utility pole hard enough to split it.
The passenger in Walewski’s vehicle, and the driver of the car she hit, were transported to Waterbury Hospital.
