Fatal East Haven CT Bike Accident When Van Collides with Bicyclist- A male bicyclist was killed in East Haven CT when a van struck him while riding his bicycle. The cyclist was revived on scene and taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where the seriousness of his CT bike accident injuries eventually took his life. The van was owned by Sarah Inc., an organization for children and adults with disabilities. The van contained the driver and two passengers when it hit the bicyclist, flipped over, and struck a utility pole. A woman was headed southbound on Route 7 in Wilton CT, when she was rear ended by the car behind her. After stopping in front of Wilton High School, she heard squealing and felt something hit her bumper. The other motor vehicle was driven by a Wilton CT man, John O’Hara of 345 Mountain Road, who was later arrested for driving under the influence.  A witness of the accident said the 42-year-old man was confused and his vehicle smelled of alcohol.
