NBC Connecticut reported that a male 18-year-old from West Haven, CT has died after losing control of his motor vehicle and crashing into a pole in Orange, Connecticut.

The male driver was traveling with three female teenage passengers. The three teenage passengers were transported to Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment of serious injuries according to the police.

This Orange CT accident happened just before 4 PM on Friday, September 20, 2013. Orange CT police stated that the black Subaru sedan was traveling westbound on Indian River Rd. when the driver lost control and left the roadway.

Witnesses said they heard a screeching sound followed by a large crash.
