A serious motor vehicle accident shut it down Route 7 in Redding earlier this afternoon. Route 7 was going to be shut down between Route 102 and Route 35. The accident was in the vicinity of Days Inn and two vehicles were involved. There were injuries, but additional information is not known at the time. Route 7 has since been re-opened.
