A car and minivan collided on New Britain Avenue in Hartford early Saturday morning at about 2:30 a.m.. Seven people were involved in the crash and the majority of them were taken by ambulance to Hartford Hospital. One person was killed and several others were hospitalized but the extent of their injuries was not immediately released. The victim who died was a passenger in one of the vehicles.
The Hartford Police Department’s Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating.
