A CT head on crash between a Prius and a Pick Up truck on October 27th left one driver dead and another with serious injuries. The CT head on crash occurred at about 5:41 p.m. near the intersection of Route 66 and Route 151 in Stratford.
Joseph Witkavitch, 67, the driver of the Prius and a Stratford resident, was flown to Hartford Hospital where he eventually died from his injuries.
Nicholas Pignatello, 33, of East Hampton, driving the pick-up truck, sustained serious injuries from the crash. He was also treated at Hartford Hospital and has since been released.
