Failure to Yield Leads to Car Crash in Tolland, CT

A two car crash occurred at the intersection of Old Post Road and Mountain Spring Road in Tolland on Tuesday, October 2nd.

Ellington resident Bruce Douglas failed to yield while crossing Old Post Road at the Mountain Spring intersection. Tolland resident Margery Marquette was traveling east on Old Post and her lane of travel was intersected by Douglas, resulting in a collision.

Both drivers were taken to Rockville Hospital for evaluation of their injuries.

The intersection has also been the site for serious car accidents in the recent past.
