Accident Near Construction Zone Injures Woman

A Ford Explorer read-ended a Chevy Equinox in the morning of August 2.

Police said that Explorer, driven by John Skehan, 50, of Norwalk, had been travelling on US 107 north when it collided with the Equinox, which was stopped near the construction zone. Skehan was given a written warning for following too close.

The driver of the Equinox, Karyn Czarnecki, 40, of Wilton, was transported to Norwalk Hospital with facial injuries.
