61-year-old Naugatuck Woman Dies After Waterbury Car Accident

A 61-year-old Naugatuck woman died at a local hospital after being injured in a Waterbury car accident on Interstate 84 in . Pamela Winston had been driving her 2001 Kia Sephia west on Route 64 after getting off I-84 West at exit 17 when a tractor-trailer struck her directly in the drivers side door.

This Waterbury car accident occurred about 5 p.m. at the off-ramp of exit 17 at Chase Parkway. The woman was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time after. The intersection is known to many local residents as unsafe.
